So, on my flight to Las Vegas I decided I would finally take the time to learn more about Actionscript 3. I chose Actionscript 3.0 Animation: Making Things Move! by Keith Peters to fill the void. Only 3/4 of the way through this book, so far it has been a great learning experience. Concise tutorials that really make one understand Flash’s new methods of programming. I have been writing Actionscript since Flash 4 and have since used Actionscript and Actionscript 2.0. Just to note that one of my favorite old books was Robert Penner’s Programming Flash MX that help me build a great library of code that assisted with my animations, this is how I see Keith Peter’s book for Actionscript 3.0.
